Learnt from the newspaper that this 600 year-old gate was destroyed in what was believed to be the act of an arsonist. I quickly went to search my photo album to see if I had a photo of it. Thank goodness I managed to find my one and only one. I like old things. It had managed to survive the Japanese Occupation and the Korean War. It is really a pity that such a historic monument got destroyed. Even if they managed to have it rebulit, it will never be the same again.Anyway, this is how it looked like before the fire.
