The Singapore River, with Boat Quay on the left and the Asian Civilisations Museum, formerly known as Empress Place on the right.
Cool... I was testing out Picasa's menu tab "Blog This" and it worked. The photo got uploaded into my blog.
Anyway, I went with Mimi to this exhibit at Asian Civilisations Museum on Buddism artefacts last Friday (18/01/08). It was quite interesting. Some of the craftsmanships were really intricate. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed. I actually had to surrender my bag with my camera and handphone outside the security counter before entering the exhibition hall... sigh.
Really had a craving for desert. So after the exhibit, we headed to Fullerton Hotel to have desert at the cafe in the lobby. There weren't many to choose from. The menu had a long list of tea and coffee though. In the end I chose Blood Orange Brulee while Mimi ordered a mudpie. The brulee was really nice, but a bit expensive at $12.
